Crank Brothers Candy Pedals Review

Candy Pedal

The device that clips into the cleat on your bike shoe resembles an Egg Beater. It’s basically a spring and two arms that extend from the axel of the pedal. Without a lot of mechanical parts, this pedal rarely has any problems. It sheds mud, like no other and allows you to clip onto the pedal with an inch of mud on your shoe. I’ve ridden on these pedals for five years and I’ve never had a problem. I’ve worn out a few sets of cleats, but that’s expected.

Karhu Jak Review

Karhu Jaks

Over the years, the Karhu Jaks (female version is the Jil)have received numerous awards and raving reviews in magazines, blogs and forums. If you've been lucky enough to ski on them, then you know why. This year's version offers a top sheet of Titanal to help dampen the ski and provide more edge hold on the hard pack. I skied this ski with two different bindings. The first time I skied with the Hammerhead binding, and the second time I skied it with the Rottefella NTN binding. The ski handled much differently with each binding.

Seattle Sports Audio Micro Dry Bag Review

Seattle Sports Audio Micro Dry Bag

The Seattle Sports Audio Micro Dry Bag provides splash-proof water protection for your portable music player. A watertight audio jack allows you to plug your headphones into the outside of the bag, while keeping your music player(and other items) dry on the inside. The Audio Micro Dry Bag is made of an eco-friendly urethane-coated 70 denier ripstop Nylon. The bag protects your electronics from the elements and from abrasive forces you'll face in traveling.
