Mountain Hardwear released the new Epic Jacket earlier this year. It's a super lightweight (14oz) waterproof, breathable shell that can be used as a raincoat or windbreaker. The body of the Epic Jacket is made from the rugged Ark 40D Ripstop Nylon. The entire Epic Jacket is coated with Conduit Silk, a nano-level polyurethane coating with silk protein that gives the fabric a smooth, soft and dry feeling next to your skin. The Epic breathes very well under strenuous activities and it has zip vents under the arms for added ventilation. All seams are taped on the inside.

Mountain Hardwear is adding the "Butter" fabric to their Men's line this fall. This super soft fabric has been extremely popular in the women's line. The "Butter" fabric consists of 89% Polyester and 11% Elastine. The Elastine allows the shirt to stretch and move with you. The Butter Man can be worn alone or as a baselayer. It's hard to describe the softness of this shirt. I notice every time I wear this shirt, my wife gives me a lot more hugs and she tells me how cozy the shirt feels.
