Camelbak

The Camelbak Vantage 35 combines the new N.V.I.S. (pronounced "envious") back panel technology with the traditional hydration pack. The pack works best for longer day hikes, ski tours and ice climbing. If you go light, you can use it for backpacking (personally it's a bit small for me). Fully loaded, the pack rides great on the back.
The Vantage 35 comes with a 100 oz. CamelBak bladder and an insulated neoprene tube sleeve.

Camelbak continues to come up with pretty cool products to enhance your hydration systems. Jon Austen, Camelbak's Director of Product Management, showed me the prototype Flow Meter at the Summer 2009 Outdoor Retailer show. He said the most common request from Camelbak users is, "How much water is left in my Pack?". With the new Camelbak Flow Meter, that question is answered.

Camelbak continues to innovate their line of "flip and slip" hydration products. The new Stainless Steel Better Bottles are made from medical grade stainless steel which offers a taste-free, stain resistant liner and provides a durable exterior. The Better Bottle design is unique because you don't have to un-screw the lid of the bottle to get a drink. Just flip up the Big Bite Valve and take a sip. These bottles are spill proof, so you can toss them in your backpack or gym bag with no worries.

The CamelBak MULE NV will be released in the Spring of 2009. National Outdoors was fortunate to be able to test out the pack prior to the official launch. The MULE NV provides a new ventilation system to the popular MULE hydration backpack. We tested the pack on number of hiking and mountain biking outings, and were very pleased with the ventilation system and added performance it gives to the traditional MULE backpack. The MULE NV comes with a 100 oz. hydration bladder.
