Canyonlands National Park Canoe Shuttle

Paddle to the heart of Canyonlands. There the Green and Colorado Rivers join. You can rendezvous with Tag-A-Long Expeditions to roof rack your touring kayak or canoe, stow your camping gear, then jet boat up the Colorado River back to Moab, Utah.

You start there some days before for a shuttle to the river. You can choose the town of Green River for 120 miles of paddling. Figure 7 - 10 days of camping to see Labyrinth and Stillwater Canyons adn pay Utah State Parks to use there boat ramp. You may start at Ruby Ranch for 97 miles on the Green River and pay the landowners $2 a person and $10 a boat to use this access. Finally, Mineral Bottom is a free access and provides a 52 mile trip to the Confluence of the Green River with the Colorado River.

Now you will have to secure a shuttle out of the Confluence, Tag-A-Long Expeditions can assist you with logistics, rentals, and the shuttle service. Then you will have to notify Canyonlands National Park by flatwater permit application http://www.nps.gov/cany/planyourvisit/upload/ReservationForm.pdf
They will incur a $20 fee for processing your request and notifying you of the park regulations.

This is a gorgeous trip, limited to 25 people at a time.
Consider the merits of escaping a populated planet and paddling the remote corridors of Canyonlands on your own, unguided, self-sufficient.
