From Terre Haute, 30 miles east on I-70, 5 miles south on IN 243.

Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge is located in south central Indiana. It includes 7,724 acres near Seymour and a 78-acre parcel, known as the Restle Unit, near Bloomington.

Muscatatuck's mission is simple: to restore, preserve, and manage a mix of forest, wetland, and grassland habitat for fish, wildlife, and people. Special management emphasis is given to waterfowl, other migratory birds, and endangered species.

Located approximately 65 miles west of Louisville, KY, the major recreation area is west of the intersection of IN 64 and 145.

Approximately 65 miles northeast of Indianapolis. From Peru, south on IN 21, east on IN 400, north on Rt. 550.

The Charles C. Deam Wilderness now contains a total of 12,945 acres and is managed by the U.S. Forest Service. All of the wilderness is in the state of Indiana.

Public land becomes wilderness through legislation passed by the United States Congress in the form of public laws. For the Charles C. Deam Wilderness, this process began in 1982 when 12,953 acres were designated by Public Law 97-384.

Located in the rolling hills of southern Indiana, lies the Hoosier National Forest. Backed against the Ohio River to the south, this Forest is within a days drive of the metropolitan centers of Cincinnati, Louisville, Chicago, Evansville, and Indianapolis. The Hoosier National Forest boundary encompasses 644,163 acres, with over 192,000 acres of public land and most of the remaining in private ownership. The patchwork effect of small farms, pastures, cross road communities, and national forest give the Hoosier an interesting rural flavor.

Located 1-1/2 miles northeast of Brookville, on IN 101. Approximately 30 miles northwest of Cincinnati, OH.
