Lake Tahoe is a year-round resort town, with skiing, snowboarding, and other snow activities available through the Winter and into the Spring. The Summer and Fall seasons provide opportunities for hiking, biking, camping, fishing, paddling, swimming, and boating.

The lake is divided by the California and Nevada state border, so lodging can be found in either state, with casinos available on the Nevada side. Otherwise, accommodations and resorts are usually associated with either North Lake Tahoe or South Lake Tahoe.

Lake Tahoe is a spectacularly beautiful setting for outdoor adventure and has some of the finest resorts and amenities in the Sierra Nevada Mountains.
