Rogue River trips are perfect for families and friends that are looking for a relaxing, scenic and exciting outdoor vacation. Trips range from 3-4 days and travel 38 miles of the federally protected Wild and Scenic section of the Rogue River. You and your family will enjoy hiking, fishing and swimming in addition to the thrill of rafting this Class III river. This boat launch site is one of many that are open to the public along the McKenzie River. The site is also a popular spot for shore fishing. Other recreation activities that are popular at the landing include picnicking, wading, fishing, and wildlife viewing. The boat launch is paved and provides easy access for vehicles from Highway 126. There are also stakes that allow for you to anchor your boat or raft until you are ready to float down the river.

Activities
This site is a historic mine on the Little Blackfoot River. There is equipment from over a century of mining and provides a great cross-section of the life of the site. A little downstream from the mine site are beautiful spring wildflowers.
