Guests may choose to ride along in a 16 foot or 18 foot Rogue Inflatable Raft, paddle their own inflatable kayaks, or even opt to experience both rides by switching back and forth between the raft and kayak.

This fifteen mile Rogue River float has a little bit of everything from exhilarating whitewater to serene canyons. Most whitewater rafting in California takes place in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains on rivers that drain into the Central Valley. While renting Sea Kayaks to paddle in this area is available, it is only recommended for experienced Kayakers, due to the nature of the tides and water conditions in the Puget Sound.

Whitewater River Rafting near Medford in Southern Oregon can provide one of those rare outdoor activities where it doesn't have to end as the sun goes down. Not only is the Rogue River considered the finest rafting in Oregon, but it also provides beautiful landscapes to enjoy while riding the rapids.

The true treat of rafting on the Rogue River is to go with an outfit like Whitewater Warehouse, which provides multi-day trips with nights spent in comfortable lodges or campsites. From what I've heard, the food can't be beat.

Paddle to the heart of Canyonlands. There the Green and Colorado Rivers join. You can rendezvous with Tag-A-Long Expeditions to roof rack your touring kayak or canoe, stow your camping gear, then jet boat up the Colorado River back to Moab, Utah.

Cataract Canyon in Canyonlands National Park serves up 28 Grand Canyon Style rapids. It is one hundred miles of the Colorado River from Moab, Utah to Lake Powell. Tag-A-Long Expeditions offers 1 - 4 day rafting trips. And this May and June visitors will want an outfitter to lead them, as record snow melt is recorded in the Rocky Mountains.

High water on an unbridled Colorado River will be terrific and this level of rafting comes around only every ten years or so. Enjoy the solitude only Utah can provide.
