Rogue River trips are perfect for families and friends that are looking for a relaxing, scenic and exciting outdoor vacation. Trips range from 3-4 days and travel 38 miles of the federally protected Wild and Scenic section of the Rogue River. You and your family will enjoy hiking, fishing and swimming in addition to the thrill of rafting this Class III river. Fishhawk Trailhead and Horse Camp is located along Hwy 14-16-20, the
Buffalo Bill Scenic Hwy. It is about 42 miles west of Cody, Wyoming and
about 10 miles east of the East Gate to Yellowstone National Park. There
are corrals and individual stalls for livestock. A reserved site
includes
a 60 foot parking space, a corral or individual stalls, water and a vault
toilet. Trash is Pack it In/Pact it Out. Hard sided camping, no tents.
There are no picnic tables and fires are not allowed.

The Lookout at Gold Butte is a small (14' x 14'), rustic, wood cabin
built on three foot stilts in 1934 and restored in 2006. No smoking is
allowed in the cabin. The use of propane lanterns and portable cook
stoves will be permitted. Reservations are NOT available in the winter
months. This cabin stands on Gold Butte at an elevation of 4618 feet
above sea level.

Three Lakes Campground is a peaceful, quiet camp tucked out of the way
from the busy highway. The campground is set among red pine, white pine
and spruce. It is 2 miles south of M-28 at Strongs Corners. Although the
campground is on Walker Lake, it is actually nestled between three lakes.
Three Lakes offers the quietness of the north, canoeing, and just
relaxation. This is a rustic campground offering fire pits, picnic tables,
pit toilets and hand pumped water.

Mann Creek Campground is located up Mann Creek, approximately 14 miles from the town of Weiser, ID. There are 13 units at the site. The campground is close to Mann Creek Reservoir, and is hot and dry in the summer months, but with shade trees to block some of the intense sun. Mann Creek Reservoir is a popular boating destination on weekends and throughout the summer months.

Located just off the Whitefish Bay Scenic Byway, approximately 1/2 mile
from Bay Mills Community, Monocle Lake Campground has something for
everyone. Monocle Lake offers a a relaxing place to fish, swim, hike, and
just enjoy a campfire while camped along the shores of an inland lake.
Camp spots are heavily shaded. Pressurized water and accessible hiking
trails are available at this campground.

Rombo campground is located along the West Fork of the Bitterroot River, a
popular fishing river in the area. Large yellow-barked Ponderosa Pine
tower above many of the campsites which along with fir, aspen and
lodgepole pine provide shade for many of the campsites. Painted Rocks Lake
is located less than 5 miles away by paved road. Wildlife in the area
include, bald eagle, mule and white-tailed deer, moose, and elk along with numerous songbirds. Bighorn sheep can often be seen in the area. Sites can
accommodate tents and/or RV's. Water is available at several locations

Evergreen Campground is located just off Highway 95 and is used by many
recreationists on their way to a future destination, but needing a place
to camp overnight. Although right off the highway, the large trees shelter
the user from much of the noise, and it is a peaceful place, lulled by the
flow of the Weiser River, which flows between the campsites and the
highway. The entire campground has just completed it's reconstruction
and has opend with brand new facilities, which include new restrooms,
campsites, tables, site pads and grills. The popular Weiser Trail can be

Above the canyon floor, visitors can view the beautiful Beaver River.
Fishing is popular in Beaver River one mile below. The campground is
located in a grassy meadow with patches of mahogany, pinion, juniper and
ponderosa pine trees.

Location: Located 12 miles east of Beaver, Utah. Travel east on paved SR-
153 road approximately 12 miles. Campsite is located directly off of SR-
153.
