Wolverine Scout and Scout Tee Review

Wolverine introduced some new technical shirts this spring. I tested them out on a recent trip to Maui, Hawaii.

Wolverine Scout Shirt

This is an awesome shirt to travel in. It looks good, doesn't wrinkle and can be washed in a sink. It's made from 100% ripstop nylon, and is rated UPF 30. All the seams are double stitched and the pockets are large enough to hold a sunglass case. I snagged it a few times on branches while walking to the beach and it didn't rip. The shirt dries fast too, if you get it wet in the surf or work up a sweat.

Wolverine Scout Tee

The Scout Tee is a casual performance shirt. It features a antimicrobial, moisture wicking polyester fabric that is also rated UPF 30.

Wolverine Inner Mesh

The seams are flat locked stitched to prevent chaffing. Here you can see the mesh that provides ventilation for the back of the shirt.

Back Vent

This is a view of the ventilation flap from the outside. I really felt this working once I was working or running. It also provides more stretch to the shirt if you have broad shoulders.
