Stuffitts Shoe Saver Review
A lot of my shoes and boots start to "stink out", before they wear out. I found myself replacing hiking boots because I can no longer stand the smell. The Stuffitts Shoe Savers help alleviate this problem. It's a pretty simple product. After activity, just stuff the insert into your shoe and the it helps wick out the moisture (and smell).
Here's a short video that explains it:

Stuffitts Shoe Savers
I've been using the Stuffitts for three months. I've tested them in my running shoes, ski boots and biking shoes. They do quickly remove moisture from the shoe and leave behind much more pleasing cedar aroma. The strap allows you to carry your shoes on your shoulder while you have the Stuffitts in the shoe.
Stuffitts Technical Fabric and Cedar Chip Core
The design is simple. There's a technical fabric shell, that is in direct contact with the inside of the shoe. This fabric pulls moisture from the shoe and pulls it toward the cedar chips sack on the inside. Shoes dry fast, but more importantly they smell much better. The cedar sack lasts 6 months and can be replaced for about ten dollars.
Stuffitts in Running Shoe
The Stuffits were designed for running shoes. I noticed that within a hour of putting the Stuffitts in my shoes they were dry, but more importantly they make my shoes smell much better. I've made it a habit to just leave the Stuffitts in my shoes.
Stuffitts in Ski Boot
I was surprised how well they worked in my ski boots. I put these in my boots after I got off the slopes, and they were bone-dry the next morning. Only the foot part of my boot was wet. If the entire boot was soaked I'm sure it would take much longer to dry. It also helped remove the dank odor that ski boots get.
I'm going to update this review once the season comes around to try this out with my climbing shoes. That will put the Stuffitts to the ultimate test.
