Stanley One-Handed Water Bottle Review
Stanley is introducing a new line of stainless steel water bottles this summer. These bottles will come in 3 metal finishes (stainless steel, pewter, and gold) with 7 different art styles. They hold 24 ounces of fluid. The bottles feature a new lid that seals air tight and can be opened with one hand.

The hip styles are geared toward a younger crowd, but despite the flashiness, the bottles are very functional. The rim of the bottle is grippy so it's easy to hold and operate with one had. I have more details on the lid listed below. There's a hook on the lid that allows you clip a carabineer on it if you want to clip the bottle to your belt or backpack. The paint on the artwork is also very durable. I let mine roll around in the back of my truck and it still looks new.
One-Handed Chug
Here you can see the one-handed operation. I tend to grip the rim and lid with my fingers and push the opening button with my thumb. This provides a natural drinking position.
One-Handed Water Bottle Lid Outside
The lid seals tight and works fairly simply. There are a number small openings on the top of the lid. When you push on the button, it drops a stopper inside the lid down so liquid can flow through it. The small openings provide a even flow of water, and you don't have to suck like other types of bottles.
One-Handed Water Bottle Lid Inside
Here's the inside of the lid. The gray piece in the center of the picture is the bottom of the stopper. The black hook pulls the the stopper down, when you push on the button. Simple, and only two moving parts so it's build to last.
The Stanley One-Handed Water Bottles will be available this summer and retail for $24 USD.
