Stanley Classic Vacuum Bottle and Flask Review
The Stanley Classic Vacuum Bottle is alive and well. First produced in 1913 by William Stanley, the inventor of the all-steel vacuum bottle, the hammertone green bottle is now synonymous with outdoor adventures. Each bottle carries a lifetime warranty. Chances are you'll probably loose or break the stopper or lid before you damage the bottle. Here's a link to find Replacement Parts.
Stanley Classic Hammertone Green Vacuum Bottle
I tested out the Stanley Classic Vacuum Bottle on a fishing trip to Alaska. Most of the time the weather is cold and cloudy. The kind of weather that calls for frequent coffee breaks... and that's where the Stanley thermos comes in. I can't say I was gentle with it. I tossed it around getting into and out of the boat. It also got knocked over and stepped on while we ran down the shoreline fighting the Sockeyes. No spills, no dents. Once, I sat and had a cup of coffee with my father-in-law, a plumber, who reminisced about his old Stanley thermos and lunch box. He said nothing's really changed in the bottle, except for the stopper, which has been improved for easier pouring. The insulated cup holds an ample amount of liquid, and keeps your brew warm while you're fishing.
Easy Pouring
The plastic screw-on stopper makes for an easy pour while pouring liquids to and from the bottle. With a few turns, the stopper is sealed with no spills. I poured boiling hot coffee into the bottle. About 3 hours later, I took a break from fishing and poured a cup of coffee. It was still so hot I burned my tongue! The specs stay the bottle will keep liquids hot/cold for 24 hours. I bet it's probably longer. This bottle retails for $27.99 USD.
Specs:

Stanley Classic Flask with Nineteen13 Logo

What's a fishing trip without a little booze? The Stanley Classic Flask goes hand-in-hand with the Classic Vacuum Bottle. After you catch your limit, you can sit back an take a pull of the flask. Like the Vacuum Bottle the Flask is bomber. I had it in my back pocket, sat on it, tossed it on the rocky shore and it still looks brand new. I really like the lanyard that holds the lid on. This flask retails for $19.99 USD.
Specs:
•Easy to store in pocket or pack •Stainless steel wall •Space for engraving on the bottom •Wide mouth opening for easy pour •Lanyard attaches to the cap •Unbeatable Stanley Durability •Lifetime Warranty
