Merrell Plie Shoe Review
I have to admit, I was drawn to the look of Plie. They are sooo cute. Now that I've put some miles on them, I can say the Plie fits even better than it looks. Merrell loaded the shoe with performance enhancing materials like an air cushioned midsole, a pigskin heel counter lining, a breathable mesh lining and the Merrell Q-Form alignment system. What does all this mean? CUTE and COMFORTABLE.

It took me about a week to break the shoes in. The shoes rubbed my heal a little, now they fit like a pair a slippers. For such a small shoe, the Plie provides a lot of support and it's a shoe I wear all day long.

When I first started testing these shoes, I wondered if I would wear them very much in the winter because I would not be wearing socks with them. I've found that they keep my feet plenty warm for most winter days. I don't wear them when it's snowing. The Plie features an Aegis Antimicrobial Lining and a 4.5 mm Aegis Anatomical Mita Footbed. Usually when I don't wear socks with a closed shoe they start to smell. I've been wearing the Plie for the last two months nearly everyday and they still smell new!

I have really high arches and the neoprene strap stretches comfortably over the arch without rubbing. They are very easy to slide on and off because of the neoprene strap. I don't wear shoes in the house, so I'm taking my shoes on and off all day. I keep the Plie's by the door because they are as easy as flip flops to put on, and they are a lot more stylish.
