I saw this sled at the Outdoor Retailers show. They had a few sleds on display and a video showing the sled in action. Click on the image to the right to see a larger view of the sled and the features.

Lake Tahoe is a year-round resort town, with skiing, snowboarding, and other snow activities available through the Winter and into the Spring. The Summer and Fall seasons provide opportunities for hiking, biking, camping, fishing, paddling, swimming, and boating.

The lake is divided by the California and Nevada state border, so lodging can be found in either state, with casinos available on the Nevada side. Otherwise, accommodations and resorts are usually associated with either North Lake Tahoe or South Lake Tahoe.

Located in Northern California, Lassen Volcanic National Park is situated at the crossroads of three distinct biological regions: the Cascades range to the north, the Sierra Nevada mountains to the south and the Great Basin desert to the east.

Although Lassen is primarily known for its volcanic geology, the park boasts a rich diversity of plant and animal life due to its geographic location and the abundance of habitats that occur there.

Close to the California mainland, yet worlds apart, Channel Islands National Park encompasses five remarkable islands (Anacapa, Santa Cruz, Santa Rosa, San Miguel, and Santa Barbara) and their ocean environment, preserving and protecting a wealth of natural and cultural resources.

Isolation over thousands of years has created unique animals, plants, and archeological resources found nowhere else on Earth and helped preserve a place where visitors can experience coastal southern California as it once was.

Redwood National Park, located in the the North Coast region of California, supports an amazing diversity of life. The ancient coast redwood ecosystem preserved in the park contains some of the planet's most majestic forests. Here, banana slugs, gray whales, Douglas-fir, black bears, and sea anemones are equally at home with redwoods.
